Incarcerated Individuals at Worcester Complete Music Program

13 Incarcerated individuals at the Worcester County Sheriff's Office recently the Opportuneity Music Connections program.


Program facilitators hosted a concert to showcase months of learning to read music, write songs, and play instruments.


The Opportuneity Music Connections program uses the therapeutic powers of music to rehabilitate individuals and work to set them up for long-term recovery and success. Songwriting and music courses in guitar, piano and percussion are offered.


Programs have also been established with the Franklin and Hampshire County Sheriff's Offices.
