Earlier this November, Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis served as the keynote speaker for the National Organization for Human Services National Conference in New Orleans.

Drawing in professors, social workers, doctors, students, mental health clinicians, and industry experts, Sheriff Evangelidis spoke to conference attendees about the innovative programming and offerings at the Worcester County Sheriff's Office.

During the opening session, Sheriff Evangelidis presented on the overall operations of the Sheriff’s Office and highlighted the broad range of human service-related work done by WCSO Staff. Eric Eisner, Director of Communications for the Sheriff's Office, joined Sheriff Evangelids to present in a break-out session, focusing on the WCSO's Substance Treatment Opportunity Program.
